Criminal Defense Lawyer
 |
Note that you actually have two cases: Your driver's license case and your criminal case.
Upon arrest for DUI, most states automatically revoke your driving license. You can challenge the suspension if you think you were improperly arrested. Most likely you will lose your license for 6 months, although you may apply for a hardship license in most states. A lawyer could help you through this complicated procedure.
Second is your criminal case. Did you give a breath sample? Participate in the roadside tests? If so, you've given the police plenty of evidence to use against you at trial.
At some point you will reach a decision: Do I take my case to trial or do I plea out? Again, hire a lawyer. A good DUI lawyer will cost you between $5000 and $8500. If you cant afford your own lawyer, a public defender will be assigned to your case.
Good luck. |

Unsure what you mean??
You obviously got bailed out so now you need to get a lawyer and get ready to go to court
it is obvious that drinking is a issue you have so in all honesty you need to check into a rehab and get your self together
Of course make sure that you show up to court but making changes to help yourself between now and your court date will look better than if you just do nothing and go to court.
Most County health departments offer alcohol and drug programs that charge you according to how much money you have Some can cost as low os 2.00 some free. So you should get started and make a appointment and get your self in there and think about what MAY have happened and thankfully did not OR you could be facing murder charges from hitting and killing someone. Take the responsibility and learn from it we all make mistakes but if we do not learn and do better than well you will keep making the same mistakes and keep going to jail nd in time someone will either die or become seriously hurt and possibly disabled be it you or someone else (It is usually the other person and well than you will not be on bail cause you will be facing murder and maiming charges |

Lawyer is key.
Get your car from the impound lot.
Ive seen people with honestly over 20 DUI's and are still driving.
Your case is up in the air. Maybe your license will be suspended.
Why drink and drive?
If you drink stay where you are.
You had to of seen those commercials! |

Start finding out how the public transportation works around your area and pull the bicycle out of storage. You are going to need to rely on it for a while. |

If it is your first, then you can get a diversion. You will still have to pay the fine and probably do some community service, however, it will not go on your driving record. |

get like 40$ atleast , thats how much you'll need. also you'll be in court , so get someone to keep your house for you , while your there |
|

Change that is not needed.

I guess call the Public Defender's office and ask what to do. They have some of the best lawyers, ones that will fight for you just as good as the JoeBlow in the phone book. |

It will depend on where you live; the laws differ.
If you are headed for jail - make the best of it.
If you have to pay a huge fine, start saving now.
You will likely lose you driving privileges, and possibly also your vehicle. And, your insurance rates will be so high, you may not be able to afford to drive even if your area does allow it.
Where I live, it is a criminal offence (an indictable offence - what Americans call a felony). This is big stuff. You will have some big, expensive, lessons coming.... |

I love the judgmental answers you received.
First, realize you have a problem and it's with drinking. Start going immediately to a group counseling for your alcoholism. You need it and the judge will want to see that you get a certificate. Also, start going to AA and get a sponsor.
Get a lawyer and get a good one. If you're lucky, you'll get a probation before judgement.
Straighten up, stay off liquor, keep a good and get counseling. You'll be able to have this taken off your record (expunged) in 3 years, but realize that you cannot be on the road and drink. Try to learn from this, forgive yourself and move on. |

well to prevent this you should have refused to take the breathalyzer because the worst that could happen is that your license gets suspended for a year |
