Legal Issues for Out-of-state driver in California?

I am driving to L.A. and staying there for a couple weeks (don't think it should be longer than a month), I want to drive my car which has out of state tags (MS), do I need to remove the front window tint just because I will be visiting the city?? I have my vehicle registered in another state, it has a tint sticker which makes it legal (in my state), and I also hold a driver's license from my state. My question is... can I keep my tinted windows while I visit the city as long as I have an out-of-state tag?, can I drive my car there even though my state only provides you with one tag for your vehicle (which goes in the back of it)??? do I need a letter or permit from the city PD to drive my vehicle around Los Angeles?? thanks!!

As long as you're drivers license etc... shows you're a legal resident somewhere else and everything else adds up, you shouldn't have any problems.

Don't worry about it. The only time PD makes a stink about it is if you show your ***. They could write you a ticket for it but most won't. Tint tickets are add ons for a**holes that give the PD crap. If your state does not require a front tag, you may be pulled over for it. PD knows which states require front tags. Don't worry.
