My 2 day old brought Car got Towed!!!?

I just brought a 93 suzuki swift the other day from craigslist and just tonight i heard an alarm noise and i saw it was my car! i dont understand why it got towed, First of all, it was in my houses DRIVEWAY in a GUARDED community, secondly, why would they tow my car 2 days after i got it, i know the car didn't have a tag or registration, but i did the tag and registration today and they said they will send the tag on tuesday, so Is it right that they tow my Car???? it is totally irrelevant for them to tow my car. Answers appreciated, Thanks.

You did not say who "they" (the ones that towed your car) are so from your description of what happened it seems entirely possible your car was stolen.

Maybe the previous owner owed money on the car and it was repo'd.
Maybe the previous owner took out a title loan or some kind of 2nd payment option and did not tell you.
Who are the "they" that towed it. Start by asking them.
