Me and my ex recently got back together, then broke up again. I found out during the time we were not together the first time she started to do meth, and when we got back together she stopped. During the time we were together I witnessed her smoking pot in front of her son while she was on her webcam, and heard her call him curse words in my presense. I made sure that didn't happen.
Earlier this week she went back home, and began to smoke meth again, broke up with me for her meth dealer, and became a whole new person. On top of this, I learned that her sons father was filing for custody due to these issues.
I wanted to help her out, but a personality I did not know came out, and I feel nervous for her sons safety. I let her know I would cooperate with child services as I want whats best for her son. When she heard this she threatened to call police and tell them I sell coke and have over a kilo in my house, in an attempt to get me kicked out of my apartment.
I don't do coke, nor do I hang out with people who do it, but this still has gotten me nervous. What can I do to make this aware. I want to make sure her kid is safe, but at the same time I don't want to be put in a corner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate both of your replies but thats the thing. They can search my house, that's not a problem, I have nothing in here.
And she is not my wife, and the child is not mine. She was a girlfriend, the childs Dad is filing for custody because of her problems.
I just don't know if I should let the police know now that I am cooperating with Child Services and have been threatened with false accusations. I'm not even in the city right now is the best part.

Search your apartment to make sure nothing has been stashed there and then file a police report based on her threats. That will add to CPS's case against her as well as protect you. Whatever you do, cooperate with CPS to make sure her son is safe. That's a great goal and don't back down. |

That is very noble of you to protect that child, and she does needs a wake up call, and if the father wants to get custody that what he needs to do, she has no business smoking or doing any type of drugs specially in the presents of her child, maybe that is what she needs a dose of reality, it is every ones business to protect our childrens that boy needs a stable home enviroment, if you have to testify then it is what it is, help the child you are saving his life, she needs help you will also be saving hers as well. |

You could most likely tell child services and/or police about her threats. Which may be additional charges. Also I think if she did go through with her evil plan it would also be filing a false police report. My thoughts are that you should definitely do all you can to protect this child and yourself as well. This woman seems like she would only mess your life up if you tried to help her. Some people only get better once they hit rock bottom. Losing her son might not do it, but it's a start. Plus, if she truly cared about him then she wouldn't be smoking meth and dating a meth dealer. Her son deserves much more than to be raised in that type of environment. |

I think as long as the police don't find anything and you don't fail a drug test, you should be in the clear. Also tell them what your wife said. When they find her doing drugs and cussing your kids out, I hope that it will be pretty obvious who's doing what. |

Don't cooperate and get that child out of her custody and get rid of all of your drugs temporarily and get clean (or stay clean) and go through the process to get the child from her. That simple. Sell enough to get by for awhile and chill out for awhile. A woman like that shouldn't have a child. |

If youre innocent then you have nothing to worry about. Let them search your house to prove you have nothing and maybe get a lawyer to help with the case. |

step one-go to a psychartist tell him all your problems and calm yourself.
step two-go to a lawyer and seek help in case cops are into this.
step three-try your level best to make it even with your ex.
step four-contact the police and file a case against her before she does it against you.
step five-try to have her locked up as fast as possible.
step six-inform all your friends and ask them to help in case there is trouble. |

you have to protect the child. try to talk things over with his dad if you think he would be more fit for the child than mom would. leave her alone man, i'll find you a girlfriend if that is what it would take. she is bad news. i probably couldn't find you a girl friend. that was just to encourage you to get out of this relationship. contact the police when you know that she is high. they will take your word over hers. |
