so they will drop the ticket on him can cops go after me ? and get my blood or just call it dropped on him since i didn't get ticketed at the time of the scene or questioned at hospital ?

They will not drop anything,on the contrary you caused a problem obviously beyond your comprehension.you have two choices,allow your friend to ruin their life for your mistake,since now they are involved and went along with this scheme they are in trouble anyway,at the least for filing false police reports and covering for you if in fact you were driving and were also drunk.The police are not in the business of being merciful when they are lied to.As a matter of fact I would expect the worst
If you allow your Friend to take the heat they may pay for your mistake for the rest of their life,with jobs denied,loans denied,school opportunities denied it may affect their entire life due to having a criminal record for what you did.
On the other hand if you step forward and claim responsibility they may see fit to let your friend off the hook with only penalties surrounding helping you,false report,lying to police etc. etc.
I'd hope the decision is easy and you will immediately help get your friend out of trouble no matter the consequences to yourself.The only way to right this now that the police are involved is to come forward and face up to your mistake,and hope they allow your friend to resume their life
This is possible to face and must be done for your Friends sake.People face this stuff every day it's not that bad you can get this straightened out and have a good life I would imagine your still young.stop drinking now,get some legal advice and legal representation FIRST then turn yourself in to police.Good Luck |

You need to be honest! Hes is in big trouble!!!! Its one thing getting a DUI but its another when there is an accident involved! If it was you then you need to say something! The good thing is that they CANT get YOU for a DUI because they didnt dive you a test that night! But you will have to pay the insurance deductable to get the other persons car fixed! This is crucial he could get in A LOT more trouble than you can. |
