What would you do if you were forced one day to change your phone numbers because of nonstop calls? What would you do if someone looked up all the elementary schools in your city? Then posted them in a blog on an page that imitates your 360? What would you do if you were forced to notify your childs school of threats made against her? What would you do if your child was afraid to be in their own home and terrified everytime the phone rang? What would you do if your ex took your child away from you? What would you do if you had to give your best friend a sealed envelope marked "Open Only if I Die." What would be inside that envelope? Would it be the name and telephone number of the person you feel would potentially harm you? Would it be the password to your e-mail and messenger? With all the threats to you and your child.

Call or drive to a Sheriffs office, and tell them you need to speak to a Special Investigator for Internet crimes. They will take the information and will check into it, but they can also place you in protective custody until they find the person doing this...
Internet Harrassment/Stalking is a crime, but in Florida it is considered a 1st degree Felony....Which means when they are caught, they go away for a long time... |

I think you should have a serious discussion with her about the dangers of giving her personal info out on the internet. Because things like this can happen. |

if it's geting that serious i suggest that she deletes the profile, contacts yahoo. and maybe even the police. I meen it's getting REALY bad if it's at the stage of thinking someone is capable of hurting yourself or your family. Infact i would definately get in touch with the police. Hope your friend's goina be okay. |

Why don't you do something about it, instead of sitting in
here crying about it,,, Go to a Police agency, sit down with
detectives and file your complaints, you have a minimum
of a 8 or 9 depending on Jurisdiciton I see in your laundry
list. |

First thing I would do is shut down the blog...no it's not fair but this is your life we're talking about here.
Then, I would hire a detective to track down the guy who was harassing you and have a "face-to-face" with them. Make sure it's a big detective. Good luck. |

Um.. this sounds serious enough for you to get help. Look up sites that help with electronical harrassing, even your local authorites might be able to help or trace calls or whatever. Dont just let this progress any further. |

tell this person who is being harrassed to record all encounters they are having with this person. with enough evidence there could be a serious lawsuit. |

Legally speaking, this is not considered harrassment. So, there is nothing that you can do. You are taking the risk of people putting things into your blogs and that is the risk you take on the internet. If this is something that you do not want to continue, then shut down the blog. |
