My friends husband was bailed out?

He was bailed out with money that was seized from a drug deal he was involved in. They seized the money he had on him and then used it to bail him out?? How is that possible? Will his case get thrown out because this happened. It's kind of crazy! They didn't actually find drugs on his person but they did find them on the ground and said they were his. What will come out of this??

Its unlikely that he will be charged as he had no drugs, when the charges are dropped he will probably be able to claim the bail for himself.

I think someone else has to put up the bail money. That money is to make sure you show up for the court date.
