My husband got a ticket back in 07 in CA (LA area) how do I found out how much it is and start paying on it?

He is in the USMC and got Deployed shortly there after.

What kind of ticket are we talking about? Moving violation? Parking ticket?

Moving violations in California are generally reported to the Department of Motor Vehicles; unpaid tickets can lead to the suspension of driving privileges in California. Keep in mind that even if he doesn't have a California driver's license, California can suspend his privilege to drive within the state regardless of the status of his license in any other state.

He could also contact the department that issued the ticket - although after two years, they may have trouble locating it. My final suggestion would be to contact the court that has jurisdiction where he was given the ticket; if it went to warrant they would be able to tell him how to deal with it. While he could be arrested for an outstanding warrant, that is in fact quite unlikely if we're talking about a simple moving violation; most of the time if you are stopped by an officer who finds such a warrant you will simply be 're-cited' with a new court date (AKA 'cite and release').

Dang thats like 2 years ago, he mite have a warrent out. I would call the number on the back of the ticket and ask how much you need to pay. hope this helps.
