My speeding citation isn't in the San Mateo Court system database after 20 days.?

I received a ticket a little under three weeks ago in San Mateo county, and I've been waiting for the courtesy notice (telling me how much I owe them) for three weeks now. So I checked the online database, and there is no record of my citation in their system. Am I just one lucky dude, or am I gonna have to jump through hoops in order not to have my license suspended for not paying my fine?

Most likely it is not on the online database yet, call the court house in the county where you got the ticket and they will tell you when your court date is (if there is one) and how much your ticket is. Your not a lucky dude, they don't forget about this stuff, this is how we make our money. My best advise is to call the court house in the county you got the ticket at and ask them what to do and how much the ticket is, if you were speeding way past the limit, the ticket is going to be pretty high, if you go to court and admit your guilty then the judge will lower your ticket price and maybe waive the court cost. Your best bet is to contact the courts and ask them these questions. They are the ones who will process your ticket and will know all the laws and regulation. You should also ask the courts if you are allowed to take a driving school class. This will prevent your insurance from going up and points from being placed on your license. Just make sure you get the courts permission before doing so. If you don’t the courts will reject your driving school certificate. Good luck!
