If you see lights and hear a siren, and the car is behind you, you are required to pull over and stop.

If they is after you, they will pull in behind you. If not, they will pass.

usually when a police officer is pulling you over they get behind you and put their blue lights on. It is state law that when a police officer has his lights on behind you, you should pull over to the right. If the cop stops behind you after you pull to the right, you have been pulled over. (and if there is nowhere on the right to pull over, you may want to pull into an establishment nearby)

hope you never get pulled over! (well unless you're a criminal, then i hope you get pulled over)

o theyll let u no, theyll make sure they pull up RIGHT behind you or right next to u, just follow da rules n dont get pulled over

Pretty easy. They go right behind you with flashing lights and siren. You pull over to the side (safely) and if you weren't the one they were after they just go past you.

No need to stress about it. You have to be aware of your surroundings and any emergency vehicle with flashing lights or sirens (police, fire, ambulance) you should try to pull off to the right to let them pass.

Also, if you are being pulled over. There is no immediate need to just pull over. Once you realize you are the one they are trying to stop, you safely (with signals and proper spacing) start moving to pull over. You then wait in your car with your hands on the wheel, do not go reaching around the car for your license or registration until they ask for it. This can make them more jumpy.

If it's at night you can turn on your interior dome lights after you've stopped then keep your hands on the wheel.

They get directly behind you with lights and sirens, pull over immediately - even if in doubt, if they pull over behind you then you know, otherwise they keep going. Whenever a plice office behind you with lights and siren on, pull over at first safe spot, unless female alone at night, then drive to nearest police station at the same time call 911 and explain there is a "police car" behind you ith lights and sirens on, give your location at that time, explain you are wanting to be sure it is a real police officer and not some crazy serial killer or rapist....ask them to check if any police pulling anyone in that location.........explain you are driving with four way flashers on and going to local police station or high people area that is well lighted for safety unless they can confirm it is real police. Keep door locked and only put window down a small amount also.

When you see any flashing lights with an emergency vehicle, you move to the right side of the road. If the right side of the road is blocked, then go to the left as far as possible. That's only for firetrucks, ambulances, etc. But if there's a police car with lights on behind you, then move to the other side of the road. If he/she is still behind you, then pull over. If they don't follow you, then they're not after you. Good luck =)

well not from experience but from my friends i know that you tend to know when it's you because you've done something wrong. and they tend to go around you when they are going after someone else, another way to tell if it's you or not is when they get close to your car they'll slow down and expect you to pull over the next chance you get. You usually hear a siren and see the police car's red and blue flashing lights going slowly following your car in your mirrors!

If you see lights in the rearview mirror, then pull over. You have to make way whether they are pulling you over or not, so they can get by you.

Well u should move out of the way if u see the police car switching to the lane u changed to then you'll know that they r following u. plus u should know if u did something wrong lol !!!!!

well if theres a cop any where behiond you with his lights on you have to pull over any ways whether he's after you or not and once you do pull over if he pulls behind you then you'll know he's after you if he just keeps going or pulls behind someone else then wait a second and then go on your way
