I was arrested and taken to jail for "criminal trespassing" All that really happened was i was at my old school and had already recieved a warning last year, but i went and they called security on me for being there. I got bailed out and the bond was 300$ So i wanted to know if i'll have to go back to jail or what my punishment will be. Thanks!

If you have no priors (first time offender) you will have a fine to pay, a small probationary period ( 4 to 6 months) and possibly community service.
The one thing I want to stress is to dress like you are going to church when you go in front of the Judge. No short skirt, no cleavage showing and minimal makeup. There is no second chance for a first impression and if you look like a streetwalker, the Judge is not going to be sympathetic. Act recalcitrant and a little scared ( this shows remorse).

non-violent offense, you may community service and informal probation, " don't get in trouble and no one cares" type.
Problem is, it's a second offense and it shows disregard for the prior ruling so.... if the judge is having a bad hair day, you may get a month.
I don't think your giving us the whole story, info like your age, reason for being at the school, what you were doing that got security called ect. It's hard to know what will happen. |
