No pull over by cop , do we still get Ticket?

If he didn't pull you over then you're not going to get a ticket.
You either gave him the slip or he was after somebody else... which is probably the reason.

Only infractions where a citation is mailed to you is for getting caught by one of those stop light cameras.

You probably will not get a ticket.

But if you do get a ticket, fight it in court. That is highly unorthodox. The judge will probably be sympathetic to you. Just be sure to explain that you did slow down, and in no way tried to evade the police officer. Without him putting the ticket in your hand, it was not possible to confirm that you were the person he believed was speeding.

I don't think you will. Basically the cop would have to explain why he didn't serve the ticket on you.

In this case he/she could have misread the license plate, got the wrong car etc etc ... I expect you'll be fine (not the $$$ kind ;-) more the ok kind)

it depends on if he got your plates and a video of you. other than that they don't bother because it's too cost prohibitive. Odds are that he found someone else to pull over right away and just forgot all about you.

I am glad you slower down.

No you won't get the ticket, many get away because it is hard to pull into traffic, get up to speed and not lose sight of the car.

If your car stands out, he may be waiting on your tommorrow.
So take that I love Bush or Wallace for President bumper stickers off the car.

only if he saw your license plate #. I heard they can send you tickets in the mail, but i think its just at traffic lights where the cameras are.

You were caught and the cop startted after you before you turned off, sorry charlie, but you're busted.
Also, they can even get you if you crossed the county line (i.e.: beinng caught by a county policeman) also radio the other county.
I have a buddy who's our town cop, if he starts after you while in town, he can chase you out, if you go that far. Which isn't far in this small town.
The more/longer they have to chase you, the worse it'll be, you'll only make the officer madder, stop and you may get off lighter than if they had to chase you.

no ticket... but they have 12 hours to find you, so don't park at your home. after that you should be O.K.. anyway, how would they prove it was you driving? your car, not your body.

lol. you got guts. but he couldn't read your license plate or know who was driving to give the tix. so i dont think u have anything to worry about. don't make it a habit though.
