They write the license number on the ticket - so they know which car it is for.
When you send the money with the ticket, they know which it goes to.
If you lost your ticket, call the Traffic Court and tell them, they can look it up by license number.
Best of luck! |

Write a check and send it to the address it says (they normally include an envelope type thing) ... They know because they'll have taken the plate # down... |

There is a thing called a computer where the ticket number and all your info is info is recorded. you mail in the ticket with a check or money order and voila you won't end up in cuffs some day when you are stopped for speeding. |

They check your license plate and write it down on the ticket. They also run your plate for priors and unpaid tickets. One time I got a parking ticket and I noyiced that they had my license plate number wrong. I went to the Police Station to protest and realized that the person who got the ticket had put it on MY windshield. He hoped that I would just pay the ticket and not check out the information. |

Go down to the court house to pay it. By your car tags. |

The police already have your license plate and car model on file when they write the ticket...they should have given you an address to send the money to, or you can pay over the phone....but you should definitely pay it, because after a certain period of time, they can issue a warrant for your arrest....dont want that on your record! |

Just go to the DMV online for you're state. They will have the option to pay a parking ticket on line. You will enter in your citation number and your credit card. EASY |

The ticket, or a notice you recieve in the mail about the ticket, goes in an envelope with the payment. |

somewhere on the citation, it should make a reference to your car or license plate. then you take it to city hall i think...or mail in a cheque....i suppose it depends on the municipality. |

The license plate, name on the license of the driver is all double checked in the cops car(they have a powerful satelite networked computer). So this is all checked even before they hand you a ticket |
