Citicop and trooper both make good points. A cop cannot tell the difference between a good citizen and a bad citizen by looking at them, only by their actions at that moment in time. Are they acting bad and breaking a law, or acting good and obeying the laws.
You cannot tell the difference between a good cop and a bad cop by looking at them, only by their actions. Regardless, you are required to obey their commands on the street, as long as their commands are not for you to break a law. If the cop was acting improperly, or a bad cop, you can file a complaint with the department internal affairs unit, file a complaint with the state department, or sue the officer and the department with a good lawyer. |

I find that I trust the older ones way more than the younger. The bad ones don't last long. But it really doesn't matter if they are "good" or "bad", your job is the same: pass the attitude test and 90% of your problems go away. |

you are allowed to get there full name and badge number. if you feel unsure pulling over in a secluded place, you can put your hazard lights on and pull into a well lit parking lot or another crowded place. Also, you can call the local sheriff dept. and notifiy them that you are being pulled over. |
