Under capitalism the working class remain alienated from the means of production, under the arbitrary yoke of private entrepreneurs, and are thus infantile in their economic countenance. Would workers that collectively own the industries in which they toil, electing and having a hand in management thereby rank in a qualitatively greater class of social maturity ? And if your answer to this question gravitates towards the positive, could this be the only genuine solution to community degeneration and crime?

I quite agree; the capitalist class only view workers as a means to an end - their own ends. Now Brown and Obama couldn’t shovel the great swathes of taxpayers money into the greedy gaping gobs of the well heeled playboys of international financial plutocracy fast enough. This ought to show the masses who the worlds capitalist governments really represent.
