Generally, the jails do not let stamps or envelopes come in that were supplied from the outside. The glue on those items can be used to introduce contraband to the jail.
The prisoner will have an inmate account. You can send a money order so that they can buy stamps, paper, and envelopes from the jail commissary.

You cannot send stamps, they are contraband. You put money in their inmate account so they can but pre-stamped envelopes and paper and stuff like that off the commissary. My cousin sent me some stamps and they were confiscated. |
