was driving in Tempe AZ, got one of those bleep bleep photo radar tickets. This is my my 1st one of those intrusive frickin money drainers Anybody want to advise if they ever got one, what should I do? Can I just ignore it. I have eard of people hwo pay, and others who simply ignore it.

I paid it. Just pay it before it gets worse. It'll drain you more finanically and time wise in the long run if you choose to "ignore" it. It just money, and they don't put any points on your record. Just consider it a lesson learned. |

Slow down for one.
Yes, you have to pay it or they can suspend your car's registration.
You don't get points on your license in most states but the trade off is if you go to court, the fine increases. |

This is legal in Arizona. Pay the ticket.
Next time find a state to speed in that doesn't allow cameras. |

The law is in flux in many of these cases; however the tendency seems to be in support of the legality.
In many cases if you ignore the citation it will be reported to your state's Department of Motor Vehicles in the same fashion as any other unpaid citation. Eventually you would have a problem when you tried to renew.
If the photo has a good clean picture of your car, showing you as the driver and some evidence that the light was solid red, you are likely going to have a problem avoiding the ticket. You should contact an attorney who specializes in such tickets for more specific advice about your situation. |

Send them a picture of you, signing the check for the speeding ticket. See if they like it.
