Please Help I'm Really Scared?

I had the cops called on me today and the lady who did it is missing her phone. She said to the police that I took it and I really didn't. They wanted to talk to me and asked me to come outside to talk to them and I said no. And they wanted me to fill out a police report and I said no. Because I didn't want to come outside of my house. They can't arrest me without a warrant if I stay inside my house. The truth is I hadn't even been over there in weeks. And the police want me to fill out a report. I'm also on state probation. Yes I'm sorry for what I've done.
My questions are?
Do I have to fill out a police report?
Am I violating probation by not talking to the police?
Can They get a warrant for my arrest based on accusations with no evidence? And I have witnesses stating where I am?
I really appreciate it if you help.
AND IF IT HELPS I LIVE IN LEE COUNTY FL... Different states have different laws.

Hello Jordan. You are within your legal rights to not go outside or file a statement. Yes, they can get a warrant to bring you in, but it would be unlikely.
The one issue I do see is one of the sanctions of your probation is to report ANY contact with law enforcement officials to your PO immediately. If the responding Officers report this ( and they should, it will show on their LEEDS screen), your PO might violate you for not reporting the contact.
Best advice would be to contact the PO and just let him know what happened.

You are not required to answer their questions but if you didn't do anything, why wouldn't you?
You might have violated your probation by not allowing them into your home. Depends on what clauses you have.
Yes, they can get a warrant for you based on the accusation. If you "have a witness" then why would you not talk to them? How are they supposed to know if you won't tell them? You're going to wind up causing yourself a lot of trouble if you don't end it now. |

I think that you were right not sign or fill any forms , after all its not your problem is it really. I also think you did the right thing staying inside or else why would they want you to come outside, it must obviously give them more power if you're on the street. |

I agree with previous answer, if you haven't done anything wrong it's probably best to co-operate with the police. You're going to make yourself seem awfully suspicious if you refuse to do anything they ask. |
