I have a friend who is friends with another girl. The other girl's Dad is WATCHING my friends computer and phone!! Isn't there a law that prohibits this? Isn't that stalking or something? Please help! She is afraid to do anything!

I may be mixed up on the details, but the other girl's dad is watching your friends computer, this would not be his daughter, but his daughters friends, correct? If this is the case you need to tell your parents or a responsible adult for example school staff. If it is urgent and you need to tell someone right now and your parents are out, call the police station. It depends on your and your friends age whether he is a 'teen predator' (if she is a minor or not) but in any case this is wrong. How long has he been doing this for? Could details have been mixed up from your friend? In any case, call the police department/tell a responsible adult the details you have told us and action should be taken. If you talk to a resposible adult insist you should call the police department, they will tell you further details. Even if your friend is not a minor, this could still be wrong. I am unsure whether it is a crime because details seem to not have been listed. |
