When I was preparing for my police interview, I received help from many members. However, I chose only one for my interview preparation. I practiced answering all questions and now I'm a police officer in Illinois. Reason I chose this link: Questions and Answers are seperated in 2 posts, so, I can read all questions and get ideas before having suggestions. That's reason I could answer any question well in my interview. Choose only one site and follow it. My choice is policejobduide.info. Your partner and you go to a burglary at a convenience store and before the owner gets there your partner eats a candy bar. He doesn't appear to pay for it. What do you do? (Letting it go is the wrong answer)

You are told that everyone is running a stop sign at a particular intersection and your sergeant sends you out to enforce the law. The first car comes through and runs it. What do you do? (think write ticket)
You sit there some more and another car runs the stop sign. You stop it and it is one of your friends (not a cop). What do you do? (think write ticket)
Ok, you sit there some more and another car runs the stop sign. It's a councilman who sits on the law enforcement funding board. What do you do? (think write ticket)
You're there again and another car runs the stop sign. It's a cop from a neighboring town (this could be your mom, your wife, your chief's wife, the mayor, just someone they are pretty sure you aren't going to write a ticket). What do you do?
The point of this line of questioning is to see where you draw the line so they can have fun with you. They leave you alone for the first guy through but grill you for writing or not writing for each subsequent scenario. But they are just trying to see if they can fluster you.

i had a friend that used drugs in his younger years. he went through the acadamy and was looking for a job . he failed a couple lie detector tests.he got around that by learning how to pass a lie detector test. the first couple questions are used for a base line and they are questions that are simple . when they ask those questions you need to tense up to bring that base line up .pucker factor. pucker the sphinkter that uses alot of muscles. put your mind in a happy place bring your mind out of that space just long enough to answer
