I did ask this question a week or so ago. but I still feel a bit nervous. so I would appreciate it if someone can give me assuring answer please. While ago I had a police encounter- on a misunderstanding of a shop lifting. they were called by the shop and they spoke to me- no formal use of words such as "if you say something....ETC." however they did take my details - no paper works, no photo id by them or signature - never went ot police station. Shop though did take my photo and issued me with a letter saying I can't shop there anymore- but I do ( in fact I am one of their loyal costumer according to them)
and this was 4 years ago. My university has sent out for my Enhanced CRB check - for a placement in school for training. Do you think this will show up on my check?

Highly unlikely. Sounds like they took your information for a report, but you would have known if you were charged with anything. If all the store did was ban you (and not even well enough to keep you off the premises) then that's a civil issue between you and the store. Nothing criminal, unless you were arrested, cited, or summoned to court.
