Police speeding all the time?

How can i report this what can i do ? There going like 55 mph on a 40 mph for no reason and talking on a cell phone how can i report this ? i live in chicago

Because there eating while there speeding and laffing on the phone ?

Don't just report them, that probably won't help.

Follow behind them and honk your horn til they pull over and put them under citizens arrest until another officer can back you up and give the speeding cops a ticket.

I live in Detroit, and people do it here quite often.

I guess you have some special insight as to where they are headed or what they are doing that no one else does. You can call the station and report them. They may get in a little trouble for it from the boss.

But don't complain the next time you call them and it takes them longer to get there than you think it should.

I get paid hourly. My pay does not increase if I go over the speed limit, and I have nowhere I want to be for personal reasons on duty. If I'm in a hurry to get somewhere, it's work related.

It would appear that you have a problem with authority. There is no possible way that you can back up your statement. Are you monitoring each and every call that the patrol officers in all patrol units are receiving over their Radios or their MDT?

So your statement that they are all driving at 55 mph through 40 mph zones for no reason would be something that you would need to prove in order to make your complaint legitimate.

If you want to just complain then call the local PD the next time you encounter one of these law breaking officers. We all know that they go to work every day with nothing better to do than to break the local speed laws.
