A guy, say David, age 21, and another guy, say luke, age23. David and luke are both in a car, david owns the car but luke is driving it. Luke has no liscense, david knows this, but denies this later on. Well, luke pulls up to a house and goes inside, david waits, luke comes back and puts a garbage bag (7 lbs. of Marijuana) in the back of the trunk and jumps into the drivers seat. Stupidly, and accidently, luke, after a m inute of picking up the weed, pulls out infront of a cop, and gets pulled over. They both have marijuana on them. David (the passanger/ownerof car) has a warrant for his arrest (awol in army), so he decides to run from the cops, the cups take him down phisically, he tried to break their hold, but failed. Luke had no warrant.
Well, the both have a trial case coming up in a month, David is freaking out "i'm going to jail for years!" he screams. David was in there already for 2 months after this situation, because of the warrant. David is a liar, he plans on liahing to the court coming up, He knew about the weed, he knew why they were there, yet he says to a cop, "I didn't know what Luke picked up, i had no knowledge of what's in that bag!" "I don't smoke weed, I don't drink" (LIES LIES) He's probobly going to say something like this in court, maybe not.
I want a professional opinion of what someone thinks will happen to luke and david. Which would be in worse? ARe we looking at years in prison? Do you think david will be in prison for a year or so? What about luke. I mean, it is david's car?

years in prison? prbly not if there is a clean record. if there is records of drugs in the past they will prbly send him to jail but not for a realyl long time, its ONLY marijuana, it should be legal for sakes. |
