Properly identifying date/time in film for evidence?

I need to video tape the condition of something and have the video also include things that identify what day it is.. i.e. 3/18/2009. I cannot use a newspaper because I could make the video in the future and use a past newspaper. I need it to be without a doubt provable.
Some things I thought about:
Filming the weather outside
Filming the news on TV
Loading a news website with the date and filming it
Problem is, the weather thing .. unless something significantly unique happens with the weather, it doesn't help much. The TV and website thing could be setup, so while I still might do those, it is not enough.
I need this to be able to be used in court, with the date properly identifiable for evidence usage.
Any tips or ideas would be much appreciated - thanks!
I did double post this.. both in a legal forum and a video forum for different experts.
Additional Details
I am not wanting to fake this. I think someone misunderstood me. I am wanting to prove without a doubt that it was filmed the day that I film it.

Find a time somewhere thats credible. Show that there is no way you couuld have tampered with the time/date. I would try a bank, or go to your local police department and film the time on thier clock and have an officer verify it. I'm sure if you asked they wouldnt mind. You could also have the police officer call to dispatch via radio and have dispatch advise the date and time, or you could do all three in one place! |

Find a date/Time/Temperature clock on a bank sign, or get a witness to verify the date and the time. |

Have a Notary witness it and notorize it. Or a peace officer.
Not a politician....they will take your camera and give it to the poor. |

Filming anything is traceable ,as a finger print .So if you have it ,and its on the date needed. You will be fine it will be enough to prove whatever it is you need to do it for. Just be honest the tape will speak for itself . If you did it after or before that day, they will also know and you could get in a heap of trouble for tampering with evidence. |
