Question about how cops pull people over?

if im speeding 5mph over the limit on a country road or on a moderately-busy city street, when the cop gets behind me to pull me over, will he only flash his lights to signal me to pull over or will he also use his siren? what determines this? i dont want to accidentally continue driving when a cop is trying to pull me over

They chould use both lights and sirens, but as a matter of practice, most officers only begin with lights. If you do not respond, they will activate the siren.

If he turns on his lights pull over, if you do not in a reasonable amount of time he will hit the sirens once or twice.

Every state of the Union. Police do not have to use sirens, lights are enough. Other emergency vehicles have to warn with sirens.
Emergency lights activated you must pullover or get out of way of the police car.

Depends if he/she is trying to pull you over for some reason or if he is on a different call and needs you to just get out his way. He may not use his siren if another crime is taking place nearby and doesn't want to signal the criminal as to how close he is. Yield and pull to the side, if you don't that is a whole different traffic infraction altogether.

guy if a leo hits his lights behind u no matter wat u should pull over. if u dont he will hit his siren. but u should still pull over when u see blue lights in ur rearview.
