Question about tatoos in New Jersey State Police?

Hey guys, I am interested in applying to the New Jersey State Police. I just fininshed up my college creds and waiting to apply. I have one tattoo (tribal) that goes down my one arms but about 2-3 inches above my elbow. Can be seen in shorter short sleeves but longer shorts sleeves cover it up. I was wondering if this would be an issue in me trying to get into the NJSP. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

No, it will likely not be an issue when applying. If it is covered by long sleeves, then they will probably make you wear them (depending on their policy). I would call the human resources department and ask them what their policy is on tattoos.
