murderer and anyone who assisted would be guilty as accessory. And this is not a funny question at all. Police officers put their lives on the line to protect citizens. They hae a stressful job. Sure some are corrupt and should be fired when caught, but still they do a decent job of trying to protect the citizens.

Comments such as yours are irresponsible. And you, at some time in your life, will call them and hope they come and come promptly.

I think it depends on a few things. Like the reason the cop was targeted and the person who did it. If it's just some scumbag doing it for selfish reasons, like that guy in Oakland, or someone who is just taking advantage of the situation (like a riot), then murderer. If it's someone doing it for a greater good, striking back against an increasingly oppressive government, then hero.

Very highly unlikely. There may be small pockets of people that might think so, but they would be in the extreme minority.

While law enforcement is very demanding on the lifestyle of the officer... it is just a job. It's not like your cartoons and good vs. evil. There are good cops and bad cops, but they are still human beings. To suggest someone could be a hero for killing an on-duty officer is like saying that someone could be a hero for killing a factory worker or a doctor.

A murderer. There will always be corrupt and racist cops because there will always be corrupt and racist people. But police officers on the street get up every day knowing that they might not come home at night and for this they should be given the benefit of any doubt. The police should be closely scrutinized because of the vast power they hold. They should be punished for any violation then commit. But, they should also be treated respectfully and not condemned without cause. With your statement, you have given cause for you to be condemned.
