I run the drug and alcohol program at work. Today I called the local drug task force to get some information about the drugs in the local area of one of our factories.

My question is what does the drug task force do? I am in Pennsylvania and the Drug Task Force is run through the District Attorney's office. Who belongs to the Drug Task Force? Can anyone join?

I would like to join something that fights drugs that's why I'm asking. I wish I would have asked the guy when I talked to him. He is going to call me Friday about something so maybe I can ask him then.

its run by the district attorneys office? thats wierd. in Connecticut the Connecticut State Police have something called a "Statewide Narcotics Task Force" but they are all certified, sworn troopers. you might have to become an officer and take the P.O.S.T before you can join.
