That will depend on exactly what charges they charge him with and whether it is a first offence or not. It will also depend on just what he did while he was doing all those things. If there were other penalties involved like he also beat the girl up or also did store damages, etc the crime will increase in it's severity. It also depends on where in Canada this all took place because just like in America where each state is run differently by that state's government, the laws differ in different areas of Canada too. I know if you are a foreigner that commits a crime in another country, sometimes the laws are stricter for you than in your own country. |
