I was driving my husband to work a few weeks ago and was pulled over on the highway for going 86 in a 55. Got a reckless driving ticket. I have 2 other speeding tickets on my record one from 2006 and one from 2007 but those were from Kansas. I don't know whether to hire a lawyer or try and get it reduced on my own. I have a 2 month old son and can't do jail time and really need to keep my license. Can anyone give me advice? Or maybe tell me what they did?

Quit driving reckless, someone could get killed...
Other than that, you can try for an attorney but that's expensive, and no guarantee...you can probably get a consultation for a certain sum of $, then you'll at least know...
If you go in on your own, I'd write a letter ahead of time, mostly taking responsibility and promise to straighten up, tell them you realize how incredibly stupid it was ...It MAY help...
You have a baby...think for the baby...you're all he has, try not to screw up on easy stuff...
