Second Traffic Ticket..I'm lost?

I got a traffic ticket in October 2009 from one of those cameras because I didn't slow down while making a right turn. I did traffic school for it and got it off my record. Now 7 months later, I just got another traffic ticket for speeding (14 mph over the speed limit), it was also raining I don't know if that makes it worse. I'm just not sure what to do about it. Should I try to go to traffic school again? and How would I go about asking if I could do traffic school again? If I did go to traffic school would it really help with the insurance? Or is it a waste of time/money? Also, my major worry for the insurance going up is just because my mom pays for it and I didn't tell her about my first ticket but now that I have the second one I think she will find out about both. Is there any way I can stop it from showing on my record? or her from knowing? Thanks.. I just really need these questions answered, I learned my speeding lesson for sure.

Sorry, I'm in California.. and the lying to my parents is part of a complicated relationship.

In California it is one traffic school every 18 months. Some states allow traffic school once each 12 months. Others once per calendar year.
Traffic school when eligible does help. Talk to the court clerk and find out if you are eligible first.
By the way some trivia. California issued 6 tickets in 2009 for each one issued in 2008.
This year California has so far issued 9 tickets for each one issued in 2008.They are finding ways to fund the abuses of government. |

get a traffic ticket lawyer and he/she will get the charges dropped for a small fee. They will even attend court for you. Not only will the charges be dropped but you wont have any points put on your record.All you have to do is sit back and relax.
i only tell this from personal experience! There are many stupid people who just dont know the facts.
In my case I got a ticket for speeding three states away from my home, and the lawyer only cost me $100 wow yes that is so expensive!! |

Last time I checked, you can't do traffic school again until 18 months has passed. Maybe you need driving lessons or something to SLOW down...15 over the speed limit could get you a pass to jail in CA. |
