Do you think it's right? Do you feel safe if you see a old person as a security guard? How about an overweight security guard...?

I'm not exactly sure what the whole parts of words are in all caps is about... anyways... It's been long proven that humans deteriorate as they get older, reflexes dumb down, eye sight gets worse, etc. Sometimes elderly are rigged with diseases they may not even be aware of, minor tremors for an example.
Overweight people have the problem of not doing their job properly, taking shortcuts to lessen their patrol as do elderly. If they're elderly and overweight they may very well be on a cane... how does that portray the Security staff?

-Why NOT ?? Does a guy who does nothing more than Stand around all Night REALLY need to be in the shape of a Marine -to call the Police if he sees anything "Suspicious" ??? It's NOT a Question of "Safety"- but one of Security. And with EVERYone owning Cell Phones these days, -Security People can be just about ANYone- who needs a Job & can stay Awake all Night... :) |

over weight is a broad term but alot of securty guards are big people i would rather have a 6'7 350 lbs guy then a 5'10 180 he might not be fast but you are not getting away once he has you alot of old people that are security guards are retired law enforcment i like them cause the will use better judgement they wont always call the cops they use common sense |

Old people as Security Guards usually can relate a situation as good or bad based on age and time on earth.
Overweight? Define this one. If a man is 6' and weights 230 he is considered to be overweight by 22 lbs.
