get the police involved, go to the station and file a report etc.
Even if it is an "unknown" number...it's not unknown to the police! |

Record the calls and file a harassment complaint with the cops. They can trace a blocked call if they need to. |

All modern phone systems have the ability to trace calls. The phone company just has to be convinced to put the effort into making it happen. This usually starts with a call to the police. So if this is really bothering you, call the police and they should be able to help you. Otherwise you'll just have to change your number and have it non-published. |

sometimes they can trace calls even from an unknown number. I would defo report it - it is harassment. Phone calls like that can be very upsetting - it is your right an duty to report it. You don't know what steps can be taken till you ask. Good luck |

Well if it's annoying you, you should call the your phone company or find a way to block those calls. But if it gets out of hand, maybe you should consider calling the police. It's really creepy thinking you have a stalker or something.... |

The Police have resources to find out the phone number of this creep.
If you suspect or know that a crime is being committed, contact the Police. They will ask you a lot of questions, to make sure that you are being honest, but the Police are not bogeymen and if they are convinced that a crime is being committed, they will pursue it.
The calls you have been getting are an offence; minimal harassment, maximum threatening behaviour. Go to the Old Bill instanter. |

the simple solution is to change your number and go ex directory. i would however report the matter to the police so at least if the harrassment was to continue on a different scale then your evidence has been recorded with the police. I know that officers would advise you of the same. you could also speak to BT and ask them for a fee to place a block on your phone of all withheld numbers so your phone will not take any call that hides its number. depending on how confident you are and what evidence you have to confirm that the calls are from this male the police could give him a harrassment warning if this fails then you would need to make a statement then the police could arrest the male but the evidence has to be there. i would also speak to a solicitor about the matter. hope that helps |
