in a perfect world where there is no abuse of authority you would not be asking this question!
however if there is appropriate witnesses I see no reason why a male could not strip search a female suspect(prisoner)
The witnesses would be there primarily to protect the officer. |

No.... and they never will. Law Enforcement officials are there to uphold the rules and laws set up by the government. The police are not a dating service set up to put men in highly unsecure situations where their careers are in jeopardy. This action would lead to many lawsuits for improper touching and groping. Many an officer has crossed the line and ended up jobless. I wouldn't advise it. |

absolutely not, not even female officers should- they should get a doctor or nurse to do it. its a complete invasion of privacy and for a male to do it would be humiliating. |

Of course they should. Prisoners are stripped of all rights... let the cops have some fun. We're OK if a male prisoner gets his as.s raped everyday, but God forbid a male officer gets to touch a female prisoners t|ts. |
