Regardless if you like them or not, and with your own past history, I would tell the police as soon as you see them drink driving.
I know that if I saw anyone I knew (whether I liked them of not) getting into a car to drive and they were drunk I would immediately with no hesitation, call the police and have them arrested. |

Don't do it on the simple fact that you dislike the person. Do it on the fact that he is breaking the law and endangering other peoples lives. |

You should shop any drink driver. |

Report anyone if they are drink-driving AT THAT TIME, regardless of personal likes/dislikes. |

Yes, definitely. Your personal feelings don't come into it, as mine don't when I'm arresting these people.
I have dealt with several drink drivers, some of whom were very nice people who made a silly mistake. Others were serial offenders who should be locked up for their own and everyone else's safety. However, my feelings were irrelevant. The safety of others was the driving factor when I dealt with these people. |

Report him. We spend more time cutting people out of vehicles than fighting fires these days. |

Whether you love him or loathe him, you should report him if he is driving drunk. Not "if he is likely to get into his car", that's not illegal or wrong, but if he does do it or try to do it. Be sure of your facts and your evidence, e.g. staggering all over the place, driving erratically etc., and if that's so the police will accept a 999 call as it is emphatically urgent to stop him before he kills someone. |

of course he could kill someone!!!
MY uncle was on his way to go turkey hunting and he was hit by a 18-year old drunk driver and died. He had three girls Ages 5 3 6 months.
If someone would have told on him there would be 3 less girls in the world asking when their dad is coming back because they don't understand.
And if your "friend" does get in a crash and hurts/kills someone while he is drunk then you are just as responsible! |

Yeah u shud, if u report him to the police and he gets caught then u get money for it. So i think its worth it, u dont like him neway lol |

if he is drunk and about to go driving tell the cops. my dad did the same and through the marriage and seperation she always called the cops on him. she didnt like him at all drunk but she did it for his safety and others. yeah but you have to know he IS drunk, and know where he is headed so they can catch him otherwise theyll have no clue where to look |

Yes, it doesn't matter that you don't like the guy he's a danger to the public and should be stopped |

I think everyone should shop for drink drivers with the police. drink drivers especially while shopping can hurt customers and decrease a stores income and cause their insurance to go sky high. |

The safety of the general public must come first! It is better to have reported the matter to the police!Rather than!If I had said something!Anything! That person would still be alive today! |

You should, before someone innocent gets hurt, or worse, Hope you have learnt from your mistakes too. |

The Mechanic

The fact that his drunkenness could kill someone should be enough to spur you into action |

Yes if he drinks and drives then he is putting innocent people at risk. Just don't tell the police you dislike him or they may not take you seriously! |

It may not be a good reason, but it is one reason. Someone over the limit should be shopped, whatever the reason. |

It is your civic duty regardless of whether you like them or not.
What if they kill someone? It does not matter if they are your friend or not, if they injure someone, it will be your fault.
Tell the relevant authorities. |

Before he kills someone yes. |

Yes- or just hope he dies in a drunken crash that doesn't harm anyone else. |

of course you should, they are doing somehting illegal! and could kill someone, i'd shop them in even if i liked them, lol |
|

broadcasting_solutions

i think you should anyway because he could end up killing someone, most likely kids or the elderly and the drunk driver walks away without a sratch on him.
let the police know! |
|

paul t

i dont think you should tell tales on anyone |

NICHOLAS C

Well you should report him. Because he is a drunk driver, very dangerous that is.
But as for your reasons, that is something else.
What a horrible little person you are. You are prepared to let someone drink drive if you like them, but not if you don't. You are a nasty piece of work with no morals. A sly sneaky person I think.
And when you do shop the drink driver, I bet you will be to cowardly to tell them that it was you.
How do you look at yourself in the mirror in the mornings. |
