So when you get pulled over by a cop?

when they issue you a ticket, don't they normally make you sign it? they didn't make me sign mine... it was like a year ago but still im just curious. i was going 47 in a 35. why didnt they have me sign the ticket?

I will just speak for my home state and say that in NC It is that particular Officer's discression as to whether or not to have you sign the ticket. Your signature is in no way an admission of guilt. I do not have people sign a citation when I issue one. I find it to be an officer safety issue. I don't want to be standing there fishing for an ink pen, leaning in explaining where you sign it and so on and so forth. So, that's just one officers opinion of why you may not have been asked to sign.

Some states do, some don't. Slow it down! Or go so fast they can't see/catch you.

signing the cite is not an admission of guilt, only acknowledgment of receiving the cite

i live in Canada, but my friend got a ticket, and they didnt make her sign it, as well as spelt her middle name wrong, so she disputed it, also i think it can be voided because you didnt sign it. not sure though.

its in the computer regardless if you signed it or not, that means pay or fight it in court
