You should expect the police to do nothing at all about anything you witness and expect them never to be around when you need them.
If you think like that you'll never be disappointed with their performance and, if you are lucky and cross your fingers real tight, they'll occasionally exceed your expectations.

4 Thumbs down, Yay!
I would say sorry for my comments if they weren't true. You can't depend on the police for anything, they are totally useless and I don't care how many people say that they are doing their best... They aren't.
If they were there wouldn't be so much crime, fact. |

No, they probably thought there would be too much paperwork for such a minor offence, and they have better things to do than arrest everyone who cuts someone up. |

I can't believe that you took the time to write, and ask this question on Yahoo! .... what did you expect them to do?
Go complain, I'm sure they don't have anything better to do than listen to your obnoxious *** complain about somebody cutting you off at the 'rounderbout'
Seriously? |

One of the reasons that people grumble about the police is that they expect the police to deal with trivial incidents like that. If you feel so strongly, you take out a summons at your expense, not ours. |

Oh, I thought you were attacked by a nutter with a knife. Merry Christmas, if you have airbag/seat-belts, hit the pouncer next time. "accidentally" press the petrol so you really slam em. |

No name.

The police don't worry and deal with these little crimes like this. Its a waste of their time dealing with this nonsense. They need to deal with the bigger crimes like murder and robbery, not someone cutting you off on the road. Stop complaining... |

If they pulled over every person who cut someone up they wouldnt have time to do things that are actually cause for concern, complain if you want but its going to get you nowhere people are still idiot drivers, you'd be more p1ssed if you hit them |

Part of Life's rich pattern. If the police took you and me to Court for each and every stupid offence we committed the prisons would be even more full than they are now |

the police may have been involved in an important investigation...if you feel strongly , then report it...or put it down to a part of the rich tapestry of life. |

Try calling 1-800-whhaaaa. Some one there may care, none of us do. |

No offence has been committed. The driver would simply tell the police he believed you were further away than you were and at worst it was a slight misjudgement. Indicators are just that - they provide an indication of intent and their use is considered to be good practice for driving, but failing to use them is not an offence. Indeed it is NOT an excuse for pulling out of a side road and colliding with an oncoming car on the main road to say that that driver was indicating to turn off the main road. Frankly round my town, there's been pretty much nada on the roads today.... |

you sound like the kinda person who calls 999 when kids are playing football out on the road! you'd be the same person to say "there are murderers and rapists out there and your doing me for driving on the phone" if you got in bother |

Yes report the incident and make an official complaint in writing.
Stupid people who do stupid things putting others in danger should be punished. |

Yes, it is their responsibility to ensure safe driving. If they are in a police car it is their duty whether the officer is off or on duty. Personally, I would just ignore it because officers are only human and the officer might have not seen it or something. Even if the officer didn't feel like doing paperwork and writing out a ticket, he could have given a simple verbal warning. |

Its a waste of time asking the Police to do anything.. they would probably do you for something ...for interrupting their Doughnut break.
Calm down and forget about it.. |
