Speed cameras are there to prevent people from speeding. Too many idiots daily run red lights and cause accidents that could have been prevented, but tards refuse to stop.
So basically you can thank the idiots who run the red lights or have no regard for anyone else because they are more concerned about getting there on time. Here is a hint, leave earlier and be prepared.

In NJ they have cameras for red light violations. If you go through a red light it takes a picture and sends it to the local authorities. They then issue a summons and a fine but you don't get points on your license. Problem is, there was a study done. Now there are more rear end collisions because people get paranoid when a light changes, slam on their brakes, and then the car behind hits them. |

If you, and the other people who don't feel like obeying traffic laws, began driving legally, we wouldn't need cameras.
They catch people doing illegal things. The only reason you have a problem with it is because you insist on driving illegally. |
