if it is your first offence ask the judge what to do to keep it off your record.
if it is not then try pleading not guilty. they will reset the hearing for another day. i drew out a poster board showing how a car with similar characteristics passed me as the police officer clocked him. and i was the car he thought was speeding. i explained this to the judge. he ruled i was guilty. i appealed his decision. the next time they ruled not guilty.
make sure to take a responsible looking adult (parent or grandparent) with you to court and do not bring a friend. |

When you go into court you can say how stupid you were not thinking about the consequences of your actions, and how speed is a factor in many fatalities and that you feel horrible, and that the experience of getting a ticket has taught you that you need to worry more about the safety of others than the rush from speeding.
But you need to knock it off kiddo, speeding is like playing Russian Roulette, one of these days that round is gonna be in the chamber when you pull the trigger. |

Go to court and ask for traffic school, it doesn't take point from your licensce and saves you the cost of the ticket |
