You probably just saved yourself from being raped at the very least, and you might have just saved your own life by not getting into the vehicle with a stranger. I'd have your local PD take an information report with you giving as much detail as you can remember.

Btw, when in doubt...RUN and scream as loudly as you can.

Going back into that area is your call....but take a friend with you next time.

Do not trust strangers. The man might be concerned or trying to help but the danger is if the man could be a rapist or serial killer. Your decision was still right.

you should call the cops and tell them what he looked like so they can keep a eye out for him.he may have already hurt someone or will again you could be saving someone else from this creep by helping to catch him!

I am not really sure what to tell you... Just be careful and be safe. And always have a cell phone on hand, Oh and pepper spray just to be safe.

The creepy part is that he pulled a U-turn. He wasn't even going in the same direction as you! He would have taken you for a ride, all right.

As a gentleman of leisure, I have plenty of free time. I often wish I could offer rides to people who are struggling to walk with packages or groceries. But I never do, because all they'll do is whip out a cell phone and call the cops. I would be suspicious of me, too, if I were them. Sad but true.

Brush it off. Strange things can happen anywhere, don't let fear rule you. Alter your schedule a bit for the next week and keep your eyes peeled. You might want to report it to the local cops, many have simple non-emergency contacts methods, even email.

I don't think there's any need to avoid that part of town - but NEVER accept a lift from a stranger however nice and friendly they seem.

Call the police. Don't be a statistic, and don't be an idiot. Even if this happened 2 weeks ago, call them now and tell them.

If you see the guy again, and he does it again, maybe you should call the cops, I highly doubt he was just being "friendly" if you don't even know him.

well, next time that happens get the licsence plate # and call the police. And when you go to that mall next time have an adult or older friend take you ( evenm if it looks uncool they will protect you ). DO NOT trust anyone! My firend on the computer talked to someone and later she met him in the park and she got raped. That guy will do that to you. And if you have a good description of him go to your police department and repot him and give a vvery good description ( Hair color, eye color, race, gender, etc. )

even at some stores there are safety books that you can buy, to teach you street violence; how to be safe ( If someone tries to rape you they have a position you can use to hurt them and you can call the police. )

I would avoid that area. Then again, he could just be a nice man. Who cares!! Stay away!!! Haha. Make sure you have a cell phone ready to call 911 just in case you walk in that area again....
