Stupid Cops!?

Okay so today i was driving on the freeway and i looked on the side of the road and a baby deer's leg was caught barely in the little hole of the fence. So i pull on the side of the road thinking im going to do the right thing and help it out right. So i get out and head towards the fence but i didn't have a razorblade or anything to stretch it out or cut it out. So i decide to call 911 BIG MISTAKE! 2 @sshole cops show up. I tell them the situation but they never listen like always. They start arguing with me and threaten me saying that if i don't leave that they will shoot me with there tazer gun and send me to jail. So i start heading to my car obviously going to leave and i hear them shoot it for no reason. The sad thing is that it wasn't even in any pain it was just stuck and its mom was on the other side watching this. I am so pist off right now none of this was supposed to happen but thats all cops result in is violence.

I meant the deers mom was by it not mine flyguy.

I work in an area where this happens quite often. Deer are actually very sensitive to stress and infection. If a deer is caught in a fence or been hit by a car and has any open wounds, fish and game will put it down. A deputy will put it down as well if fish and game is not available. Even the stress of being caught in a fence is enough to cause damage to the internal organs of the animal, especially in younger ones. Yes, it is terrible that bambi gets a .45 behind the ear but it is for the good of the species.

The officers were telling you to leave so you wouldn't see the results of your call to 911 (and the evident guilt you have for calling). It is a little thing we do to keep the public in their happy place.

It was unfortunate how the situation was handled, but you got to understand that most police departments are not trained to deal with wildlife. I say next time try contact an animal control department. They would be able to handle the situation better. I agree with those who already stated you should make a report on how you felt they handled the situation wrongly.
Someone mentioned something about them not knowing how to deal with a rattle snake... what did you think they're were going to do, its a ****** rattlesnake. Its not like it was an injured bird that they could just pick up and carry off. I'm sure they were trying to think of a way to get the snake without being bitten!

If they tell you to leave the area, it is a lawful order. If you think they were out of line file a complaint. You could also get a local animal rights group to help out.

You probably should call animal aid. They care a lot more about animals than the police would. Poor deer.

How do you know its MOM was across the street? Maybe it was the hit-deer, making sure it's cleverly planned execution was carried out.

You were driving down the freeway, somehow saw the leg of a deer stuck in a fence (despite freeway speeds) and your mom just happened to be accross the road to see it all. Right buddy. More likely you were on someone property and lucky not to be in jail.

PS Tazer hurts like hell so all LEO know you were shot with one.

Thats horrible. But truthfully, the police department is not typically trained or equiped to handle animals. I would have contacted animal control or tried to find their number to contact them.

Yea, i called the cops because a rattle snake was by my house and i wanted someone to take it back up in the hills. Three cops show up and didn't know what to do. Keystone cops.

This should be reported to the news. Those Policemen are idiots and should not be on the force. Many Policemen are stupid and like to cause pain to people. ( It's the Republican way now in America ) Please report the actions to the newspapers and let's watch the Police put a spin on that.
