Well they have every right to film because the road/street belongs to the council and they would have sought permission from them to film there. As for parking in your drive however, they do not have the right to do this as your house is your property. Thus if you do not want them parking there put a sign up or block it off with some cones!! If they do park there call the police who will make them move it!! |

If they park in your driveway again then block them in and tell them it's a £500 release fee! |

They will have sought authority from the local authority to use the road and probably to cone it off. It may be worth having a word with Citizen's Advice Bureau as they are affecting your enjoyment of your property. I wouldn't hold up much hope though. |

When I lived in London they were always filming The Bill in my road. I think they rely on the fact that people will be impressed that their house might be on the TV. The production crew expected residents to move cars out of the way and stay indoors at the drop of a hat.
Personally it got on my nerves, and some of us managed to screw some compensation out of the TV company for inconvenience. |

I say have a sense of humor and let it go. They won't be filming FOREVER right? |

They did that in my Brother-in-laws street when doing Where the Heart is, it is very inconvenient , but they should Not park over your drive, it is illegal to block someones driveway. |

You can put up signs and close your driveway to them and they have to honor that. If they don't then you can sue them. As for the roads that's public property and you would probably have to talk to the department in your town that issued the permits for them to film. |

How exciting. Don't worry I'm sure they won't be around forever. Maybe you could stay with a friend for a few days if they're really starting to irritate you. :-) |

The city/town is the one that hands out those permits. If its as big of a problem as you say, it should be easy to get your neighbors (preferrable EVERYBODY) on the streeet to sign a petition to get them to stop or in this case even revoke the permit. |

Find out if they have permits and during what hours. Usually, you cannot work past a certain time at night because you would be disturbing the residents. Also, without your permission they have no authority to block or park in your drive way. Tell them to move and if they won't, call the sheriff. If the filming is disturbing the peace late at night, call the sheriff and tell him that they are creating nuisance and you have a noise complaint.
However, if they do have valid permits, outside of parking on your property, you might have to bear with it for the time being. Sorry. |

Bottom line is,They have no right to block your driveway or to encroach on your private property. The latter is trespassing, and no one except you can give permission for that.As far as the public road goes, they probably have a permit for that. |

Call your Council Member that represents your district.
And if you are home, park your car near to the entrance of you driveway but not block the sidewalk or the area people are allowed to walk on.
You could call the Police and to come out to have them remove their cars off of your property. Tell the filming crew that should they damage your property you will take legal action. They can cone anything they want except your property. No one can give they permission to park on your property except you. Just remember this. Someone gave them permission to do what they are doing. This is why I say call your Council Member. |

Contact your city or county and ask if they have permits to be blocking the roadway, and for filming. If they don't that stuff can come to a stand still real quick with a phone call to the police/sheriff. |

they have no right AT ALL to do this and its an offence to park across a driveway you can call the police BUT//////if they compensate you all then until then block them from filming until a compromise is agreed and payment up front |

they have to get permision from the council first, they then get issued with a license from your local council offices. I have worked on many films, go to the unit & ask to see the producer & a copy of the license, if they dont have one you are within ur rights to call the police to get them to move on...
you may find more info of what the film unit need to do here

complain to your city...county. their the ones making the money off of it........ |

No. But they are not meant to ask you, they are meant to ask the council.
I did post about complaining to the police, but it probably will do not good and waste police time (if they have got council permission). Complain to the council, and ideally, to your councillor. Your councillor would be more likely to listen as it will be your vote which will decide if he or she gets in again in the next election. |

if they park and block the drive phone the police and they will come and tell them to remove the obstruction. if they do not remove it, a ticket will be issued, permit or no permit.
and to close a road off needs a notice placed in a local newspaper 28 days before, check if this as happened if not it is an illegal closure |

Complain to your local council or perhaps even contact your local member of parliament.
I suppose having they're vehicle/s towed away wouldn't help, as for one thing, you'd probably be required to pay the cost of it. |

Cheeky gits - they should give you some sort of compensation !!! |
