The pair who murdered and raped the two young girls and the mother in Connecticut, do we execute them?

Yes!!!! As a woman and a mom, I want to see them suffer -- and much more than those poor girls did. As a Christian, I want them to meet their maker and face His justice. The sickening brutality those poor girls and their mother endured is horrendous. Those who don't believe in the dealth penalty don't understand that these vile, pathetic animals will drift off peacefully--a far cry from the compassion shown to their victims. Yet justice will be served by making sure these soul-less pigs never hurt another ever again. And no--I don't believe in years upon years on death row. Conviction (beyond a reasonable doubt--in this case the husband/father is the eye witness--along with all the DNA evidence I am sure was at the scene), and execution within the week.

Absolutely put them to death.....BUT FIRST..... tie a 10 long piece of piano wire around their privates, and let the husband, or other relatives, push them off a 20 foot bridge.....on public television! Then take them out and shoot them, no trial needed. You commit a crime, you should get the same treatment........NOT after 6 months in jail requiring thousands of tax payers dollars, NOT after a court appointed attorney, NOT after a hearing, NOT after an appeal of the first hearing outcome by their lawyers.........NOW, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so sick of this countries legal procedures favoring the crooks and not those who are victimized. Our prisons would not be overflowing, millions of dollars could be used better purposes elsewhere, if we follow the EYE FOR AN EYE law.

HELL YES...of course im from texas and our state executes anyone involved in a capital murder.
my state actually has an express lane for executions. if there are 3 eyewitnesses in a capital murder case, you get no appeals. just a needle

Yes, but while they would be waiting on death row, they should post the autopsy pictures on their walls and force them to watch the families' home videos. Also, they should pump a message from the surviving family members repetatively throughout the entire night in their cells.

I'm torn on this. I say solitare confinement for their whole sentence, if they happen to commit suicide in there, oh well. Death sometimes is what they want or is the easy way out. There is no punishment once you are dead. Making the perosn sit in darkness for 50+ years with no visitors,no books, no nothing, is far worse than death.

Good morning...AL.....This case is so morbid! It's totally inhuman. No person in their (right stable mind) would ever do something such as this. Now, I don't know the full story but just what you have stated, this pair has no 'right' to be permitted on this earth but unfortunately, they have a right for a 'fair' trial. Does Connecticut have the death penalty? Illinois just reestablished ours, so now we can suggest the death penalty in some of our cases. We have a case now, that they recommended the death penalty. I don't normally agree with the 'death penalty' due to insufficient DNA testing or a mistake in the Forensic department. However, if all the evidence is factual and tests have been completely established more than once for accuracy and no mistakes were found, then I would say in a case such as this, that a life sentence is too good for this pair. If they are convicted and they do receive the 'death penalty' then you need to think on the years they will be sitting on 'death row' waiting for their appeals. They could be sitting on death row for a long time depending on how fast these appeals go through. So with this in mind, what would be more realistic? Death Penalty or a life sentence with no parole. It's just a thought. I just hope the jury finds this pair guilty and justice can be served if the evidence shows proof. Have a great day!

Considering our justice system, they would execute the wrong people, and the real murderers will still be free, and they will stop looking for the real murderers.

I do not trust the government to decide who may be killed and who may not be killed.

I do not believe the real murderer should be executed, as that is too good for them. Psychiatric treament, in the form of 3 electro-shock treatments daily for 50 years might cure the criminals. Maybe longer.

Even though what these men are accused of is vile and horrible they still have the right to a trial and for it to be proven that they did these things in a court of law.
