The protester, King Arthur Pendragon, has been given eviction notice from Stonehenge after 10 months; would he?

be evicted if he were a traveller?

The man is harmless but also delusional, opportunistic, irritating - and in truth, a bit of an eyesore. By wasting his existence trivialising history to the level of a poorly-acted Victorian melodrama he should be pitied and offered psychiatric assistance rather than pandered to. So take his photograph, buy him another drink - then evict him.

Course he would but much faster!! lol

Yes,he would have been-- travellers can't set up and live on the west track either. This guy is an addled druggie who imagines 'the crows' of Stonehenge (jackdaws actually) told him he was king Arthur. he fancies himself a druid, though king Arthur, if he existed at all, was a Romanised Christian who lived hundreds of years after the druids. He believes his earlier protest (in which he chained himself to the fence by the heelstone) was SOLELY the reason access to all was allowed again at the solstice, not that it came about through careful planning and negotiation with other, less radical pagan individuals/groups.
his recent protest leaves me scratching my head. the road plans were turned down by the government, therefore the money is not there to 'take down the fences and restore the landscape.' It's not EH or anyone else 'going back on their word'--the money is just not available.(Taking down the fences also does not mean that everyone will be allowed to go rampaging into the monument to do whatever they like.)
it made me laugh, he was up in arms about a dig up there last year because the archaeologists were taking out a bag of cremated bones (placed there in the late 1920's after an early excavation), yet seemed to think it perfectly acceptable at Solstice to stagger drunkenly on top of graves and the fragile, already eroded henge bank! I get the feeling guys like him have it in for anyone who might explode their own fantasies.

I have tried researching this for a while now, and not getting very far.

If you are banned from driving in the UK (for 50 days), are you permitted to hire a car abroad?...
