The show 'Lie to me'. True or fake?

I was planning on completing a criminology degree and was just wondering if the job the guys in the show ' Lie to me' have is actually true. I don't think its completely true but i was just fascinated by the whole face reading thing. Well if their job is true under what profession or degree does it fall. Thank you.

Yeah, the job itself doesn't exist (yet), but the techniques they use are representative of real ones (though not necessarily accurately represented).
Most of that stuff falls into something closer to psychology than criminology though, though I'm sure some of the easier parts of it might be part of that.
Face reading is a real thing, which is really cool, it works better on ignorant people though. |
