These two guys got into a fight at school, one got seriously hurt, what will happen!?

I'll try to make it as brief and detailed as I possible can.
Basically these two guys, one mexican dude and a black were at lunch squared up with each other.
They were mouthin' off and the mexican guy looked like he didn't want to fight because he looked calm and then walked away with his back turned to the black guy.
The black dude ran up to him and punched him like 3 times on the back of the head and then the mexican guy turned around and was still getting hit.
Then the mexican dude kinda like did some boxer move and ducked and then just clocked that black guy in the face and he fell hard to the floor and the whole cafeteria was like in shock screaming and oo'ing and ahh'ing.
but then the mexican dude backed off with his hands in the air and got on his knees before a police officer arrived to arrest him and the black dude was still laying there like completely motionless, he looked like he got seriously hurt.
What will happen to both of them?
This happened in Texas, I heard the mexican guy was like some hardcore boxer, but he didn't provoke the fight and got hit quite a bit before he retaliated.

I have a degree in law enforcement so i can answer your question. Anytime someone provokes a fight aka throwing the first punch they are at fault. Even through they were arguing beforehand they had the oppurtunity to walk away at any point. A number of things could happen to the african american guy depending on his age. If he is over 18 he could be sent to jail for assault, battery, or disorderly conduct. If he is a minor he may be charged with the same but the case will most likely be handled differently such as him going to a juvenile center, probation, or community service depending on the judge. The mexican guy probly wont get charged with anything. Thanks |

if he was attacked from behind after backing down then more than likely no charges will brought against the hispanic guy..the other guy maybe in big trouble though..he will be arrested for assault |
