Loitering (standing around on a street corner doing nothing) is not permitted in many places.

You refer to the cop as a pig, therefore you probably have some beef with them. This would probably be because you have had run-ins with them. He's watching you, so maybe he has a reason to watch you.

Why are you nervous? Do you have something to be nervous about? Why are you standing on a corner doing nothing? Are you waiting for the bus? Maybe the cop is protecting the kids in the neighborhood by watching suspicious looking people (such as folks who stand on a corner doing nothing).

Either ignore the cop, OR ask him why he has his eye on you, OR go someplace else.

And since when is "being stared at" a threat that requires self-defense?

It's called Loitering...you're in violation of the law. He's waiting for probable cause so he can arrest you. He thinks you're doing one of two things: Loitering to engage in drug activity, or soliciting for immoral purposes. (I work in Law Enforcement)

why wait there... unless you have something in mind... if you did no wrong why are you feeling guilty or afraid... to me if a person is always at a place somewhere he/she is usually up to something. It may be good or bad but surely up to something and thats why u r having this problem. I'm sure you're not withholding something from us, right? I mean who doesn't just stand on a street corner doing absolutely nothing these days. Sounds completely normal to me. I'm sure there are plenty of people who wake up in the morning to get dressed and and spend the day standing on a street corner for no good reason. I can't imagine why any Police Officer who be drawn to you? You are most certainly a victim, a victim of your own stupidity that is! Here's an idea, MOVE ALONG!

I think your suspious actions are probably the reason he is watching you, maybe he thinks that anyone who just stands on the corner for no reason might have a mental handicapped. So maybe he is trying to figure out how to put the crazy person in the car without causing a scene.
