This guy i know is goin to juvy, how long can he go for?

this "person" i know is going to juvy soon and hes going to court on may 10th
...so right after court is he going straight to juvy,like on the same day?
if he doesnt go straight to juvy..how long could the wait be..like a couple weeks or months?

whats the approximate time you have to wait after court to be in juvy?

all he did was brawl and smoke pot
how long could he go for??

This is a juvenile situation meaning that his case will be heard by a juvenile court judge.

The outcome will depend on the judge. It could be a fine. It could be community service. It could be both a fine and community service.

A so called brawl could be mutual combat or that of your friend being a bully and starting the whole thing. In which case the victim would only be defending himself.

He will probably be taken into custody immediately after the hearing. The actual time will be determined by the judge, but he can be held right up until his 18th birthday.
