because most of the time its men that commit these terrible crimes and they usually pick on someone they think they can easily over power. There's a lot of sick people in this world and the majority are men, though unfortunately i think women are catching up

Many women put themselves out there. the way they dress, walk, not pay attention to surroundings. However, that does not justify the actions of criminals. Our country has that problem. Countries in the middle east don't suffer that problem because their women dress with modisty and cover up so criminals don't attack..and it works. I wish we had that in our country. Not strange. I feel that in general, women are less aggressive than men. Men tend to use violence and women tend to not. It probably goes back into history when men were the major provider and women were kept as property... Men just have not grown up and matured as much as women have...

thats crazy because im from minneapolis minneasota, or i gues murderapolis...ahah but women hardly get murdered here, yeah they get raped and beat up and mugged and stuff but men get killed like 3 times a day it seems...guess it depends on whether its gangs killing like here or if its freaks who hate women or what...this was a lame answer...sorry..

I don't think ithat it is necessarily more women, than it is that it is young, attractive white women who are missing or murdered who get a lot more attention than other groups. Fair? No. But that's the way the media plays it.

men are usually the perpetrators of that sort of crime and those sort of crimes are carried out by sick bullies
