Threatening calls: dangerous calls?

Someone keeps threatening calling me all the time during the nights. The phone # is "Unknown". I wouldn't say that I got scared, but it's very annoying already and It's hard to fall asleep after that every time.
Is there ANYone who can help me to trace threatening calls? I mean ANYone: cellphone company, police, some special forces....? I don't care, just anyone, i'm ready to sighn whatever papers it would be needed just to stop this mthfckr!

Make a police report and contact your phone company to report the problem. They most likely will give you a special number (*57 or 1157) to dial after you get such calls, that flags the call and the history. The phone company may also install a "Trap" that records all incoming information, and you would need to note the exact time and date of the problem calls.
Even if the caller blocks caller ID, the phone company still has a record of the call source if it is local. If not the call trap will get the info. |

If you're in the US, as soon as this guy calls, hang up and dial *57 (or is it *59) and that will register with the phone company for use in court and/or a police investigation. Even if you can't get this number, the law can and then they can help you serve papers to sue or prosecute this guy.

The problem is if you call the police or cell phone company they are going to ask if you know who it is. Honestly without knowing who it is the police won't be able to help you. If you don't have a number the cell phone company can't help you block it. If you think there is potential for more danger than just a call I would call the police, but if you think it is just someone screwing around I would just change my number and be careful about who i give the new number to. |

I don't think those threats are serious, unless you have enemies, but just in case you should call the police so they track the call and arrest the funny guy after those calls. |

Dial 999, ask for a policeman to come into your house and listen to the call, they can track calls that are normally untrackable with this weird equipment...
Or just wait until the man is stupid enough to forget to press the code to make the call untraceable and then have fun with him. |
